We are seeking a Yocto Developer to join our growing firmware development team within our active network solutions business, DKT. This role focuses on firmware and software that enhances the customer installation experience.
Tasks
- Maintain and unify development environments using:
- Yocto
- Docker
- CVE and bug tracking
- Build root
- Ensure the Yocto environment supports high-volume manufacturing and various vendor SDKs, while complying with European NIS2 and UK TSA cybersecurity frameworks
- Work with application servers including:
- GenieACS
- TiBIT MCMS
- Kubernetes
- Develop and maintain firmware for PON and Ethernet ONTs, managing:
- Build systems
- QA and Test systems/Networks
- Applications like OMCI, IGMP, DHCP Relay Agents, TR069, SNMP, etc.
- Linux kernels and boot loaders
Profile
- 3+ years of experience with:
- Yocto
- Docker management
- Programming in C, Shell script, Expect, and Perl in a professional environment
- Networking using VLANs
- Understanding of IPv4, IPv6 Services (DHCP Server, DNS, Radvd, ssh, smpd, wget, Apache, tftp, etc.)
- Proficiency with Wireshark and network analysers
- Curiosity and enjoyment in working within a creative team of specialists
