To strengthen our commercial organisation, we are looking for an ambitious Account Manager with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and experience in the energy sector.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding a customer portfolio in the United Kingdom. You will build long-term relationships with our key customers and develop new market opportunities. Thanks to your market knowledge and commercial drive, you will ensure growth and contribute to further strengthening our position in the United Kingdom market.
You will interact with customers at a strategic level and advise them on our solutions for sustainable and reliable infrastructure. At the same time, you will work closely with internal teams (logistics, engineering, product management) to ensure that we always deliver the right solution.
Tasks
- Managing and strengthening relationships with network operators, wholesalers and installers.
- Developing new commercial opportunities and expanding the customer base.
- Drawing up account plans, preparing quotations and negotiating contracts.
- Achieving sales targets and exploiting up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Monitoring customer satisfaction and identifying market developments.
Profile
- Completed higher professional education or university education, preferably in a commercial or technical field.
- Demonstrable experience in B2B sales, preferably in the energy, infrastructure or technical sector.
- Strong commercial and entrepreneurial drive: you see opportunities and know how to capitalise on them.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Independent, results-oriented and proactive, but also a team player.
- Fluent in Dutch and a good command of English.
